SRI LANKA BEAT BANGLADESH BY 7 WICKETS IN THE TRI NATION SERIES AT MIRPUR, BANGLADESH.

After the disappointing tour of India, Lanka are now looking for this tri nation series. The first match of the series is convincingly won by Sri Lanka. Their Super Batsman Dilshan is in tremendous form. IPL has changed his attitude towards the game. His high class century (101 from 122 balls, 12 fours) helped Lankans to chase the good target of 260 runs. Captain Sangakkara supported him by scoring 74 runs which came from 73 balls.

Banladesh openers provided a solid start as the opening partnership provided 65runs in 12.5 overs. Then as usual, they faced a sudden collapse. Opener Tamim Iqbal scored 40 runs and Mohammad Ashraful scored valuable 75 runs. Mahmudullah’s quick fireworks of 45 runs helped Bangladesh to achieve the comfortable target of 260 runs in 50 overs with the loss of 7 wickets. Suraj Randiv and Suranga Lakmal took two wickets each.

Now every one is looking for the result of the match between India and Sri Lanka.
